Ginger-Key Lime Tuna

Use this for Tuna, Swordfish or other steak fish

1 1/2 lbs. tuna steaks (1" thick)

Include seafood in your menu!


6-8 Key limes or 1/4 cup juice
2 TBS olive oil
1 tsp minced fresh ginger
1/4 tsp salt
1 small hot pepper or 
   1/8 tsp ground cayenne pepper
2 cloves garlic, crushed



Prepare the marinade.  
Cut fish into 4-6 serving pieces and place in glass dish or Ziplock bag.
Add marinade and make sure fish is completely coated.  Cover if using a dish.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour but not over night.


Brush grill rack with oil or spray with Pam.
Grill fish over direct heat on medium - 4 inches from  heat for 15-20 minutes.
Brush with marinade a few times while cooking and turn at least once.
Fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
